Just bought a 1968 Arrow Glass I/O for $300. It's got a closed bow, six seats and is a great late '60s avocado color (hopefully this won't scare the fish! It's 16' and rides nicely on its trailer. The seats and carpet were replaced a couple of years ago, and it was covered most of the time, so it's in great shape. I don't know the model. I have worked on the engine a little replacing most of the electrics (points, plugs, etc) and got it running today! I think the trim buttons need work because the down button makes the outdrive go up and none of the buttons make it go down, so I'm not in the water yet. I'll take some pics and post them tomorrow. Any help in the mean time with the model?

Welcome to the family...
YES post some pics I am sure we can figure out what you ahve... and maybe help you out with the trim... I went through mine top to bottom so I know them inside and out..
If you push the the trim switch up.... the front of the motor should go down.. this should Raise the bow of the boat when running..
as for the down... do you hear a click when the switch is flipped the other way?
If not it might be a solinoid.. there are four or five of them. depending on motor. two for tilt two for trim (one up one down each) they have a blue and a green wire going to them.. one is up one is down. thats is where to start. see if you have power getting to the solinoids.. and coming out of the solinoid.
If you plan on keeping the boat. i would invest in a shop manual. (a good OMC ONE not the aftemarket one) they are about $40 but WELLLLL worth the investment.
good luck!!

Hi all, My name is Don Hay. I just wanted to say Hi! I used to own a 1968 15.5 closed bow with a 120 Mercruiser I/O on a tandem Holesclaw trailer. I sold the boat in 1987 to purchase a new boat that I still own & use. Not sur how to post a pic , but I do have a # of pictures of the Arrow Glass boat. Hope all is well, Don haywagon3@yahoo.com
