Abandoned and decaying. The only factory building remaining in the entire industrial area of North Memphis. Factories across the street like Firestone and Kimberly-Clark demolished along the once very busy highway. The address is 931 Firestone Blvd.
The large white patch of concrete fill across the street from the shell of the Arrow Glass factory is where the large deep tire presses of the Firestone plant made thousands of massive 800 pound aircraft tires used on World War II bombers and later for commercial aircraft.
